VMA Recap
So I'm pretty sure that was one of the craziest and most entertaining VMAs I've ever seen!
If you missed it, please please tune in to one of the repeats, or watch it on demand right now!
Normally I fall asleep or zone out during award shows but there were so many awesome performances and general craziness at the 2009 MTV VMAs that I couldn't tear myself away from the TV.
First of all, congrats to all the winners including:
Lady Gaga for Best New Artist
Most awesome / ridiculous performance of life. If you didn't see it...there's crazy dancing, piano pounding, blood and hanging from ropes. Watch it here:
Eminem for Best Hip-Hop Video
Totally deserved!
Taylor Swift for Best Female Video
Well the acceptance was a little dramatic ha, but congrats to Taylor

The Lady Gaga performance - unreal!
The many costumes of Lady Gaga - which one was your fave? Personally they all scared me a bit, the red lace one was nuts. Kudos to Gaga for being extremely brave in her fashion and performance!
The Madonna / Janet Jackson tribute to Michael Jackson (RIP)
Taylor Swift acceptance speech and performance - so cute and composed!
Justin Bieber introducing Taylor, adorable!
All the stage crashers haha and Rusell Brand was pretty fun as a host. I can't wait until next year's awards, although this one will be hard to top.
